Alysha & Mike | celebrating 6 years May 2nd, 2012 by Kylene. Filed in Portraits.

I was so excited when Alysha contacted me – she had an anniversary coming up and wanted to document her (continued) love for her sweet husband, Mike. Your wedding shouldn’t be the only time you have your portrait made people!
They brought along their fun little pups, Jack and Holly, and we had a blast going from town, to marsh, to beach.
Happy anniversary you guys!
Thank you so much for such beautiful photos!
Rebeccah & Matt | 4.14.12 Apalachicola Wedding April 26th, 2012 by Kylene. Filed in Weddings.

Rebeccah and I crossed paths several years ago when I hosted a pet portrait fundraiser for the Humane Society! She brought her pug Lulu for her closeup, and thankfully kept my name in the back of her head. She contacted me when she got engaged and I was thrilled to get to work with her and Matt! They are truly wonderful people and actually have a lot in common with Ryan and me – I think we could become good buddies in the future.
Rebeccah is a managing editor at the Tallahassee Democrat and they ran a sweet story about them on Sunday with a picture I took from their wedding. Go check it out HERE!

I loved Rebeccah’s bouquet, and also loved the chair with perfect window light! She had a charm with her dad’s picture on her bouquet to remember him by – he passed away from Alzheimer’s disease in 2005:

Love this shot of Matt that Ryan took, he cleans up well!

Their flower girl was super cute and took her time tossing her flower petals. She wanted each petal to land perfectly!

Rebeccah’s older brother walked her down the aisle:

Their ceremony ended at the perfect time for some beautifully lit portraits:

They had such great, personal details! I love the moss initials that greeted everyone to the reception area, the centerpieces were made by Matt’s mom, and one of the favors was a home brewed beer that Matt created with custom coozies:

Love these pics . . . KILLER ring shot, too!
Tricia & Joe | 4.7.12 SouthWood House Wedding April 20th, 2012 by Kylene. Filed in Weddings.

The best way to describe this entire wedding was “sweet”! Tricia and Joe individually are sweet, together even sweeter, and turns out their friends and family are also super sweet! It was a beautiful day for a wedding at the SouthWood House – weather was perfect, everyone dressed to perfection – especially Tricia in her gorgeous (and huge!) dress! I think the pictures speak for themselves on the sweetness and beauty of the whole thing. She also had a lot of great TAWP vendors to help her pull it off!

Tricia’s mom was the sweetest and I love this little moment between the two of them:

I love these of sweet little Carristen!

I love this combo of Tricia walking down the aisle with her dad, and Joe’s reaction:

Lots of pretty details pulled together by Danette Saylor of Golden Gatherings:

The boys were having fun at the reception:

Have to give a little shoutout to my friend Perry of North Florida Express DJs. He always knows how to get a party started, even if it means a little singing on the dance floor!

And then smashed in everyone’s face:

I’m so glad Tricia and Joe were ok for us to steal them from the reception for a minute. Literally, 5 minutes and we got to enjoy this beautiful sunset light. Worth it? Yes, I think so!

These guy might just have officially given our previous “booty shake” winners a run for their money! This looks like such a fun wedding!

I think my fav is the last one! I love it that this couple did pictures just because
