A couple weekends ago, a friend of mine who is a photographer up in Thomasville, Georgia invited me to come pay a visit! She was organizing a luncheon and a photo shoot so we could meet local photographers and have fun bouncing ideas off each other. (thanks for the invite Ursula!) I had a blast meeting a bunch of new people, and the BBQ at Grandaddy’s was sooo good! Might need to make another trip up there just for a pulled pork sandwich! Here’s a couple shots from the shoot they set up. It’s hard to imagine that there were about 25 other photographers standing all around, so it was hard to get the exact shot you wanted. I was happy with these few though!

I’m so excited I can barely contain myself!!! I’ll just jump right in and show you what I’ve been up to the last couple of months:
I really wanted to take this boudoir thing and turn it into something serious, so I’m introducing a new “brand” within my business! Not sure if you guys get tired of hearing about this stuff…so until you tell me otherwise I’ll keep telling you. 
We had our local Tallahassee Guild meeting last Thursday night and I was honored not only to win the category of Portrait of a Woman, but the print also went on to win Print of the Month overall! I get so nervous and excited when I put my work in front of my peers to be judged, so it’s always really exciting for me when I get nice comments on my images. So here’s gorgeous Kira and her winning smile again! Might be one of my favorite images ever:

This is totally going to count as my “Things I Love” Thursday post! Because what’s not to love about love? I finally got to meet up with Melissa & Brad for their long overdue engagement session last weekend – their wedding is next month! They let me try a little experiment, something fun and new I want to start offering my couples for their engagement sessions. Hope you’re all having a great week! I’m trying to get caught up on editing and am also preparing to head down to central Florida for a big bridal show this Friday night!
