Paeton Abigale, my new mascot June 27th, 2008 by Kylene. Filed in Cute Kiddies, Portraits.

One of my favorite subjects to photograph is a newborn little munchkin! I got to spend a few hours yesterday with Paeton, and her parents Lindsay and Jeff. After making a mess of their house, several soiled backgrounds, and a little persistence, I think we ended up with some adorable stuff. Before our session I made a little baby t-shirt with my logo on it that Paeton proudly wore for a few shots, so I think I officially have a mascot now! Hope you enjoy your sneak peak – your proofs will be up soon along with your baby announcements!

I think this one’s my favorite of the day:

Paeton wasn’t so sure about her hat:

But mom made her feel better about the whole thing:

It was finally time for an updated family portrait with the Yozviak family! Their ever expanding family keeps getting cuter and cuter, and they definitely kept me on my toes. We thought we’d get a nice shot of everyone sitting in the grass, but as soon as Isaac laid eyes on the playground across the street it was all over. Sometimes you just have to learn to adapt, and I think we ended up with a far better family shot than we would have just sitting in the dirt. This shows the personality of their busy bunch just perfectly. Hope you enjoy your sneak peak, everything will be online soon! I finally got with the program and have started using some fun actions to spice up my images, let me know what you guys think about the new looks!

This was my favorite from the day:

Those are some mighty fine images
Loving the first one still.
Love the one with Sam & Isaac in mid-swing
i also love the first one…looks like mischief to me.
Kylene! Those pictures are amazing. I can’t believe how cute the babies are getting. Luckily you had a fun subject to photograph!
Love the first image in this post…so vintage-looking. I adore his curls!

I’ve been a little quiet lately because I’ve been shooting all week! This is the second year I’ve gotten to photograph Girls’ State here in Tallahassee. It’s a youth leadership program put on by the American Legion Auxiliary, and the best upcoming senior girls in Florida come and learn about government. They even get to spend 3 days in the Capitol and sit in the House and Senate and “act out” the roles. It’s pretty impressive! I’m exhausted and I wasn’t even with them every minute of the week! My good friend Jackie Ihnenfeld is one of the coordinators which is how we met last year! Most of the pictures I took are for the girls’ enjoyment, but there was one shot that I thought I’d share with everyone:
I love ya forever and ever!!
Thanks for coming by and playing yesterday- i’m glad I “learned” you on Lightroom.

ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!!!
