“Things I Love” Thursday | Wedding Albums

July 16th, 2009 by Kylene. Filed in Things I Love

I realize it’s almost midnight, but it’s still technically Thursday so I think this counts!  I’ve been super busy the last few weeks and haven’t made time to compile any favorites, but I’ve been getting in albums from last seasons’ weddings and wanted to share them with you!  It’s like Christmas day when that box shows up on my doorstep and I get to look at the finished product.  Then I photograph them and quickly pass them on to their rightful owners!  (yours is coming tomorrow Paula!)

I hope everyone is having a great summer!  We’re about to head off for vacation so I won’t be answering emails in the most timely matter, so thanks for being patient!  I’ll try to blog a few images from paradise!

First up is my new love…Paula & Darrell’s album with an upgraded Rain acrylic cover and grey ostrich leather binding.  I love how you can see through the acrylic but it has a texture which gives a unique look.  It doesn’t really have those orange looking stripes, that’s just light reflecting off the texture.  Don’t you LOVE it?!

A couple of my favorite layouts from their wedding album:

Next up is another favorite, Cherie and JJ’s wedding album covered in Serpentine Black.  So classy and sexy!!

They got matching mini parent albums which are so cute and bound in the same Serpentine material.  On the top is a close-up of my logo that gets stamped into each album.  :)

Lastly there’s Andrew and Susan’s wedding album which is so sassy in Shimmer Plum!

One of my favorite layouts, plus a detail shot of their cover.  They really chose to be creative and make it personal, which we can do on anyone’s book!

Boudoir Bash heads to Jacksonville!

July 8th, 2009 by Kylene. Filed in Boudoir Bash

Hi everyone!  This blog post is for the ladies, so boys just head along your way!

Boudoir Bash, Jacksonville Beach, August 15

I have just booked a beautiful room at the One Ocean Resort in Jacksonville Beach to host my first Boudoir Bash in the Jacksonville area!  You won’t want to miss this opportunity to have some beautiful pictures taken of yourself.  Currently it’s open to the first 8 participants that send in a deposit, but I can already tell the demand is greater so I think we might have it run for 2 days so I can open it up to more girls.  I’ll post the package information below – it’s a great deal that I can only offer due to the fact that many girls will be participating and I can pass along the hotel and makeup artist to you as a benefit.  Normally those expenses would be your responsibility.  Email me ASAP to get further information and sign up!  Spots are filling up fast!

A year older…

July 6th, 2009 by Kylene. Filed in Personal

Today just happens to be my birthday!  I’m starting the downward spiral towards 30 so I’m feeling a bit old today.  Especially since my sister, whose birthday was exactly a week ago, is 2 years younger and is reminding me of how old I am now.  :)

When I was little I always felt like the Fourth of July fireworks were just for me, to celebrate my birthday.  We enjoyed a great 4th relaxing poolside with friends and grilling out.  Ryan gave me an early birthday present, one being a T-shirt that says “Peace Love and Twitter”!  I thought it was pretty perfect.  :)

At the cookout, Ryan and my friends surprised me with a beautiful birthday cake from the same baker who did our wedding cakes!  Red velvet cake, cream cheese frosting……ahhhh to die for!  I snapped a quick pic with my iPhone, it even has pink and brown flowers!

I had a little buddy to help me blow out my candles.  Thanks Isaac!  :)

I hope you all had a great holiday weekend!  I’m still enjoying mine for just one more day!
